I’m a journalist and seasonal wildland firefighter who grew up in Eugene, Oregon. After receiving my bachelor’s degree with a major in journalism and a minor in Arabic studies, I moved to Amman, Jordan, where I lived for two years.
I now split my time between pursuing stories as a journalist and fighting fire as a seasonal firefighter in Oregon. I am currently based out of my hometown Eugene but have covered stories throughout Oregon and internationally in Lebanon, the occupied West Bank, Jordan and Oman.
